サンピラーとは

サンピラー（太陽柱）は、冬の寒い朝や夕方に見られる光の柱のこと。太陽が低い位置にあるときに、空気中の小さな氷の粒（氷晶）が光を反射して、まるで太陽から光がまっすぐに伸びているように見える現象です。

Sun pillars are columns of light that can be seen on cold winter mornings and evenings. When the sun is low in the sky, small ice crystals in the air reflect light, making it appear as if light is growing straight out from the sun.

太阳柱是在寒冷的冬季早晨和晚上可以看到的光柱。当太阳在天空中较低时，空气中的小冰粒（冰晶）会反射光线，使光线看起来好像直接来自太阳。

Kamifurano Town is a nature-rich town located in the central part of Hokkaido. It is known as a tourist destination with a view of the beautiful Tokachi Mountain Range. In summer, lavender fields and flower fields spread out, and in winter, visitors can enjoy fantastic scenery such as sun pillars and diamond dust. With hot springs and local gourmet food, there is something to see and do in the four seasons.

上富良野位于北海道中部，是一个拥有丰富自然景观的城镇，也是一个可以眺望美丽的十胜山脉的旅游胜地。夏季，薰衣草田和花田遍布；冬季，游客可以欣赏到太阳柱和钻石尘埃等梦幻般的景色。此外，这里还有各种温泉和当地美食，四季皆宜。

大学時代より北海道の山を中心に撮影し始める。
丘をはじめとする美瑛・富良野の自然風景を独自の感性で表現し続けている。

Born in 1959 in Hokkaido. Lives and works in Kamifurano, Hokkaido. Landscape photographer.
Began photographing mainly the mountains of Hokkaido when he was in college.
He continues to express the natural scenery of Biei and Furano, including the hills, with his unique sensibility.
